“I think doing voice work for animation is probably acting in its purest, most ancient form. It’s a bit like the [ancient] Greek form of acting, where they had masks on. In our case, the mask is the animator’s drawings."
— James Earl Jones (The Making of “The Lion King”, 1994)
I’m just sitting here watching last night’s Once and Emma is talking to Walsh and I just keep staring at him because I know his face from somewhere and finally his voice clicked in my head! He’s Henry from Ugly Betty! Oh my god!
Okay but if you read the article he wasn’t stabbed
he literally walked into the blade thinking it was a toy and not that it was a replica actual sword
HE LITERALLY WALKED INTO MY SWORD OFFICER
"And he just walked right into the point. I don’t know if he thought it was a toy." and a bit later in the article, this gem: "The ex-husband was taken to hospital following the altercation, but not before he, in true Zelda fashion, smashed a pot (a flower pot, over the head of Thompson)."
